ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

We stand on the shoulders of our ancestors! Let us always remember they paved the way for us all.

Special thanks to my high school English teacher, Mrs. Dorene James, my high school VI History teacher, Ms. Karen Thurland, mentor Delta M. Dorsch (deceased) affectionately known as "Auntie Delta."

To my relatives and friends who always asked, "so when is the book going to be published?"  Heartfelt thank you!

Mom, I know you are one of the angels above watching over me... you are the wind beneath my wings.

Invite me to participate!

What I enjoy most is sharing my passion and love of the beautiful Virgin Islands with everyone!  As a former educator, library professional and intellectual property specialist, I love to engage in conversations and bring excitement to learning about VI history, culture, adventure, and island life.
